**  Zune  =  Bose   in  " Generation Y "  speak.

The VAF site has a cute CGI image of their latest pile of vapourware.

Bet the box is a PVC  moulding.

Wait till you tangle with Mr Gates vicious copy protection software
designed for his Zune wet-dream.
You're in for a nasty shock.

Made in China too, or so it says on the VAF site. Includes obligatory
mention they would like to produce some in Australia. For sale in the
USA only originally also, or so I gather.

Still, do you want VAF's designer to come up with a music player
speaker, or Microsoft's designer to do it?

Be interesting to hear how it compares with the Apple iPod HiFi, which
produces astonishing volume for that size box. The Octavio appears (in
the VAF illustration) to have tweeters as well as mids, while the Apple
model lacks separate tweeters (3dB point at 16kHz).
