The cost of providing education to everyone is simply enormous and so would
the cost of providing health care to everyone. We are talking about a huge
chunk of the economy. It is indeed the welfare state for government to
provide these two basic services. The best way to justify it is simply to
make it a right by virtue of citizenship.

It is a never ending mystery to me why I poke about liberalism like a cat

I should also mention that if you get it done also have cable separators
fitted. I think they are made by Moulton.

I thought one of the recumbent manufacturers stocked them. I have them
on my Thorn (UK). I must admit I do not use them as also have to remove
the frame, cranks, mudguards etc to get it into the box I have. Where
are you based Patrick?

I'm looking to put together a more transportable road bike. I want to
use something like the Ritchey Break Away or Surly Travelers Check
frames that can be dismantled to two pieces (the two triangles),
allowing a complete bike to be packed in a relatively small case.
There are other similar frames from Dahon, and several that use the S&S
