Not a bad idea. In fact I've got it set up like that at present. The
main problem is that it's hard to turn lights on/off or adjust them
while riding. I'm thinking a mini front rack and ostrich bag is looking
good for Xmas.

It is fairly obvious, it is not a lane as such it is a completely
separate walled off two way road with every entrance that I have seen
saying buses only.
It is a complete waste of money and space,it is almost always empty with
just an occasional bus doing 80 as no one is allowed to use it.
It is a pity motor cycles are not allowed, they would not cause any

Until they find him no one will know for sure.
I recall seeing "Bus only" signs and much argument about bikes not
being allowed, but I don't know how good the signage is.
I wouldn't ride it as it's clear there's bugger all room for anything
but buses.

Sydney to Gong Ride

I did this ride for the first time ever and I must say I enjoyed it :)
3hrs 40mins was my time to the Gong and I was a bit slow compared to this
other fellow who said he did 3hrs 2 mins. Anyway, there were kids on their
bikes who seemed to have got in BEFORE either of us so I guess there is
really nothing to brag about on our part.

St Helena (mtb ride, Blue Mountains) closed indefinitely

Closed for roadworks wef 31/10/09, until further notice.
Roadworks and singletrack tend not to go together, so I expect the
ride to be ruined for more experienced riders. So sad. It will be
sweet, technical, overgrown, *legal* singletrack (something that is in
very short supply), no more. :^(
