i take 0.5 mg clonazepam 3x a day just to keep down the background noise. i
carry 1-2 mg of alprazolam in my wallet just in case i have a panic
attack.

i found that taking only alprazolam was troublesome because it has such a
fast onset, lasts a short while, and then drops off precipitously. feels
like a roller coaster. clonazepam has a more steady-state feeling and as i
said i only use alprazolam for panic.
