This isn't my video but I think it's pretty neat.
Looks like it would help someone who hasn't had
a surgery yet to understand what was going to
happen.

Just from this animation, it looks like balloon sinuplasty is less
effective than FESS:  Smaller openings (which could easily block up
again in the future!)

That's what I thought.  Maybe it was not a balloon advocate that
created it!  It's probably not totally accurate animation though.

Draining the sinuses could be a good first step.

BTW this stuff looks promising.

Good grief sbnjhfty. now you have me hooked on Utube.

Take a look at this one, after the power points, it shows video of
FESS sinus surgery.

I've wondered:  How did your ENT know that your frontal sinuses needed
surgery?

In my experience, ENTs don't like to touch the frontals unless there is
clear evidence of sinus disease in there.  (And that's always left me
wondering if I have a pocket of infection in there that's gone untouched.)

I saw that one but didn't have the sound on.  What is that stuff?
A steroid?

The manufacturer's web page says it's not a steroid or allergy
medication, and not useful to people whose sinus issues are caused by
allergies, but apparently something derived from the cyclamen plant
with a topical effect. I'm skeptical, but who knows.
