You *can* take antidepressants for depression caused by bipolar disorder or -- Find my book, Medicines for Mental health, and free drug information, at =====
schizophrenia, but you have to be careful to take other medications to
prevent the AD's from driving you into manic states. For example, a bipolar
person might take Depakote and Celexa, to treat mania and depression, while
taking Celexa alone will probably drive him manic.
