Hi Gang, Am having surgery tomorrow morning on my wrist and mid forearm to take care of some problems caused by my rheumatoid arthritis. Will then be in a cast for 4-6 weeks. (have to be there at 6:00 a.m. - Yikes! you all know what a morning person I am - Not! LOL) Would appreciate some prayers that all goes smoothly!... more »

I received 200 messages at noon. "WOW," I thought, "people are writing again." Then I discovered that only 8 were new, and 192 were from August. Somehow those 192 got dumped back into ASA. <G> And there may be more later, since 200 is the max I can receive at one time. ... Food is an important part of a balanced diet.... more »

OTP Results of bronchoscopy last week

Last Tuesday, they did a bronchoscopy on me. Those are horrible! It's over fairly quickly tho. Results came back today. Other than fungal infections (which take 4 to 6 weeks to culture) the consensus was Aspiration of Reflux. Anybody had experience with that? He's put me back on Nexium and added... more »

Hey Gang, A young mom from our church, took a nasty fall down a flight of stairs at work this past weekend. She did some pretty bad damage to herself and has had surgery to remover her spleen and is now in ICU while the doctors continue to deal with other internal bleeding issues. She has 4 young children at home, so I know they could all use some prayers... more »

Thanks to a water pipe in the ceiling breaking in my rheumy's office, I can't be seen today. I have one knuckle swollen and painful to use. I was going to be seen today.
