Congrats on the new kitty! Hope Fresca adjusts soon. She has a lovely face.
Am jealous cause we are ready for a kitty emotionally but not financially.
And you are the 4th person in our circle of friends/family to get a cat in
the last month!

Ooh, Harv! Hadn't thought of that.
We have Cobra and it's about 35% paid by the company, plus there is stimulus
$ that is supposed to pay for another chunk. Will go look it up today. Will
call Rheumy's office next week.

she actually has areas of tan and white that didn't show yet when that
picture was taken. One leg is almost all tan/white. It's as if one parent
as grey and the other calico with the calico just popping out here and there.
Gives her character.

yup, the name works for us. poor thing, she's had her world so upset and
she's not accustomed to repeated attention from people! She's hiding
somewhere in her room right now. Hopefully she'll adjust to us fairly
readily.

It has been sunny but cold here and I have been able to walk the
past two days and hope to tomorrow as well. We are having higher
temperatures this weekend.
The cat is beautiful. It is so sad when they are in a shelter for
so long. We got two in June, one had been in the shelter for
nearly 9 months. It took about five minutes for him to settle

Just think, two to see grow up! All the others are too far away to see from
month to month. I can hardly wait. Scarlett is just about old enough now
(just over two) to be fun to be with. She's not afraid of me now. I think
it's good for a child to have a brother or sister. I thoroughly enjoyed

I remember my TKR last year and if I remember correctly, the first week or
so after the surgery was very painful, but if I did everything they told me
to, and worked my way over and under the pain, it soon abated and I could
work with my knee. The doctor said at three weeks, I was where most people

Nann, she is just beautiful. I wish I dared to get a kitten, but right now,
I just can't take on anything new. When I had a cat and a dog, the medical
bills were so high, I am just afraid of having those kind of bills again and

Way to go. Makes me feel good since I'm also on MTX and Enbrel now.
I'm going to talk to the RD about twice a week Enbrel when I see her
again.

I thought the name Fresca was interesting. LOL Quigley's mom was
Shasta (which also is the name of a brand of sodapop). Fresca is kind
of cute. For a while I have wanted a grey cat, and before Quigley was
given to me, I was looking for a grey British shorthair.
