Lee will only ever be a success if he plays along side someone like
Howard or Duncan, Big men who have the ability to cover for his
defensive deficiencies. On the Knicks, Lee just is put into a role
that #1, he is not suited for and #2 that he is physically not able to
handle.
What is most annoying about this whole thing is Lee had to know if he
was coming back to this team and his competition was going to be
career under performer Darko, he was going to be playing the 5 at some
point and that meant concentrating on getting stronger and hussling on
D. All he is doing is firing up shots from everyplace on O and getting
lost on D. This is more of an effort to sell himself to another team
after what was a disappointing FA tour than to try to be part of a
winning system.
This also isn't all Lee's fault (get ready Styfo) I blame a lot of
this on D for putting him out there. I mean Lee is our C and Jefferies
is our PF. How the Hell can you play any form of tough D with those
two in the front court.
Lastly, why isn't Hill getting more minutes, I mean wtf is he going to
learn from watching these two.
