ARAA's total depravity
Tedward, on the other hand speaks a language that does appeal to the feckling skink in all of us (who have been aa'd anyway) Poor ted, I've known other homosexuals who were just as fanatic about whatever drama they were currently self-empowered by. Just agree with him, clap funny and giggle with glee when he chimes ...

I find that too many of those who become fanatic or near fanatic about AA are too, well, fanatical, for my tastes. Unfortunately, some of those yo'yo's are mean spirited and they are tolerated in AA because of their seniority, I guess. . And I think the one's the 'preach' the BB have lost touch with people, ...

Just suppose...
Surely that's a bitter pill for a Freethinking Individualist fanatic to swallow, whose whole outrage deal is predicated on there being some unscientific "I" ... Odd that the "religious fanatics" Garrails about reported this, in quite some detail, a long, long time ago. But, hey, they didn't have machines and such ...

Atheist and newcomer to AA
--Richard Dawkins Brer Garthumper is at it again, quoting Dawkins as a *real* fanatic does best! Irony is that from Dawkin's premise of "virtue of using evidence" through to his conclusion of 'two people shooting each other very often' evidence is conspicuous by it's absence. What's the odds Dawkins has seen much ...

Anatomy of an Epiphany or Rocketing into the 5th dimension
As much so as any religious fanatic. Hell, it's much more interesting if you don 't have to believe in a certain way. That isn't fair, Gary. You haven't had a genuine spiritual experience of the level or quality of Ted's so you couldn't possibly understand. He *HAS* to believe as he does. He has no other choice. ...

Fundamentalism Revealed..Or May God Damn you to Hell.......
But, you see, whereas American conservative religious fundamentalists may kill folks for God, them rag-wearing Muslims do it in a "fanatic" kind of way. ... The "War" against homosexuals is no fun and games, folks....you can toy with the fanatic we have here...but he represents people who would think nothing of ...

Tightrope-The Fourth Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous
Yet, our best and brightest take the bait. bark bark bark. He's been droning on homosexuals for how long, now? People have suspected he is one or he is like St. Paul, was one, and it plagued Paul even after he 'gave it up'. This is what happens when homosexuals try to deny their reality. They go fanatic. ...

Godless Quotes of the Day 3-8
The opposite of the religious fanatic is not the fanatical atheist but the gentle cynic who cares not whether there is a god or not. Eric Hoffer (1902 - 1983) Minus 10 points for pollyannaish generalization. The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes ...
