Use of marijuana whilst remaining sober?
PS That group lasted only a few months--everyone in it got drunk. Now I'm really
scared. We have a meeting in this area where they used to have a hooker raffle
once a month - it's been going for over forty years. Can we then conclude that
your group will have longevity if you auction whores once in a while? ...

I have been at meetings where they had a hooker raffle, had an official roll
call, or had a NCO i/c newcomers. One meeting I found unusual was on Vancouver
Island - it was a couples group. The idea seemed to be that AA'ers attended with

intended for HIV positive addicts were really NA at all, since "the only
requirement for membership is a desire to stop using", yada yada yada... and HIV

The closest thing I have seen to it was some years ago when some outraged AA'ers
tried to get my home group delisted because they held hooker raffles. It's still
listed, although the hooker raffles were cancelled Hooker raffles are still held
