Not much Canadian television makes it this far South, although SCTV and the various actors that came from it has always been very high on my list of favorites.
Back in the 1980s SCTV was in heavy rotation on the only "free" channel available here in Shadowville for those of us who refused to give in and buy cable... every night from around 1983-85 there was SCTV, "One Day At A Time" reruns, PTL Club with Jim & Tammy Faye Baker and old Gene Autry movies, and that was it for television after Tom Snyder's show.
