Diffusion filter for contrast reduction

Hey all, I'm thinking of getting a diffusion filter for my dSLR for contrast reduction. Seems like most of the ones on the market are "softening" filters, but the less blur I get the better. after a bigh restyling of my site mostly under the skin for presentation of different galleries (I adopted simpleviewer and associated tools) I will present now a new fresh collection of photos taken with distorcing glass; the taste is almost totally abstracted but I love colours and shapes in such a kind of shots.... more »

Inner City Volcano - Atmospheric Views

Strictly speaking it's not the full volcano - it's what remains. But it is smack dab in the centre of Edinburgh city. I climbed up to the top to get above the mist drifting off the North Sea and took a few snaps on my Pentax K7.
