Cox 'can't see Friends film happening'

Sunday, November 8 2009, 7:30pm EST
By Catriona Wightman

Courteney Cox has denied rumours that a Friends movie is being made.

The speculation was heightened in September when James Michael Tyler,
who played Gunther in the sitcom, claimed that the film was
"definitely on".

However, The Mirror reports that when Cox was asked if the cast had
all signed up, she replied: "That would be a negative."

The actress, who played Monica in the show, continued: "We're not. I
can't imagine it. I don't know. I just can't imagine that happening.

"I always thought we should have done a Thanksgiving episode. Once a
year, all the friends should get back together and do one episode. And
it didn't happen. I really thought that would be a good idea. But
no-one's listening."

Representatives for Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have
previously dismissed the speculation.
