Hi,
I'm just researching what i need to get started besides the obvious of
purchasing the Mandala. The Mandala User Manual shows various
configurations to connect the mandala to laptop, then use headphones
to listen, etc.
I'm curious about the Firewire Audio Interface. I've looked at a
couple of manufacturers (M-Audio, Lexicon Pro, etc) and it seems they
are used mostly for recording. Ideally i would like to plug the
Mandala into my laptop and have my laptop output to either a PA
system, amp or really good speakers.
Am i on the right path with the Audio Interface? or do i need a pre-
amp? or is all i need a really good external sound card?
I only had an hour to look around on the internet. If anyone can point
me towards some good articles or has some personal experience with
this type of setup that would be great. This is my first step into the
electronic world, so it's all new to me.
