Yeah, I've also been unsuccessful with trying to get this working,
every time I try to run the control burst all I get is a sign appear
saying "MaxMSP has stopped working". I also get the same thing happen
when I try to run the v1.03d Brain!
Why is this happening, any help would be very, very appreciated.

i've done the mandala control burst and controlled battery 3 on macs
and pc's with no problems.

plug in your mandala
start control burst app
mac or vista - choose 'mandalaNNNN' in the device pulldown menu in
control burst (NNNN is a number)
xp - choose 'usb audio device' in the device pulldown menu in control
burst
click the button in control burst and wait 5 seconds til it goes out
mac or vista - quit control burst then start battery and load a
mandala battery preset and play (make sure mandala is activated in
prefs as a midi input device.
xp - pull the cable then quit control burst and replug the mandala and
start battery and load presets and play

fatboyroy if you can't even load the applications you definitely have
a conflict in your system that you need to sort out.  i never heard of
anything like what you are describing and i don't see any other posts
on the forum like that.
