Just received my Mandala. For some reason after setting up the virtual
brain software, I cannot seem to make the pad generate sounds, When I
go to the software and click on "zone 1" or "test audio output" in the
audio/midi settings I can hear the drum sounds being triggered (by
clicking) and I can hear the test tone. Does it have to be used with a
core audio soundcard or monitored through the headphones? I was just
using my laptop as is, monitoring with the built in audio and the
built in speakers on the Macbook Pro. Any advice would be appreciated
there's a troubleshooting section in the manual about getting the
program to recognize your pad. It starts at the bottom of page 23.
the manual is on your installation dvd, or you can see it here:

have you checked that out?
