I was looking at the stats provided by my host and noticed several
unusual sites that had linked to me. Good, right?
Well, not really. Several of the sites appeared to be link farms,
which I had never visited. Some were "Russian Bride" type sites with
google ad's and lots of links. I looked at the source and the google
pub number was the same on all of them. A few of the other sites were
"Viagra" type sites. In all cases, I looked at the source to see if
they were indeed linking to me but couldn't find anything.
I figure this is some blackhat stuff but have no clue beyond that. Can
anyone explain what they are doing?
