Can't add new sitemap after redesigning website

We moved our site to a new host and completely redesigned the entire
structure of the site. I'm unable to add a new sitemap. The error
"URL restricted by robots.txt" which is impossible because the new
robots.txt is correct. I also removed it entirely but no luck.
Is it possible that the old robots.txt file is cached within Google... more »

403 forbiden error from Google

Hello, could anyone help me? I got a 403 forbidden error from google
webmaster tools when I tried to submit my sitemap generated by "XML
Sitemap Generator .
No matter what I do I keep getting this error at google tools:

I have an xml sitemap at [link]
It has all of my pages - 12,845 and updates dynamically as real estate
listings are added and removed from the system. We have a feed into

We have uploaded a couple of site maps for our various sites, and they
have been successfully indexed by Google.
However, our site map for [link] was uploaded 4 months ago,
shows no errors, but is still NOT being indexed. Is there a particular

Hello all,
I have something of a problem i was hoping the gods of the web that
reside here could help me with. I'm making my sitemap for google, and
my site is rather large (2 million+ pages) and when running my python
script it starts off without a hitch. Works beautifully, that is

What if my SiteMap includes just those pages updated frequently?

I am trying to understand how Google uses the SiteMap I submit, if it
uses it exclusively or just as "additional" information to the normal
crawling.
For example, if I create a SiteMap of just a bunch of frequently
updated pages, will Google still crawl and index the rest of my pages... more »

robots.txt and webmaster tools

Hi,
I accidentally added the wrong robots.txt which blocked access to my
directory. I only noticed that when I tried to submit my sitemap.xml
I then changed my robots.txt information but it still 21 hours later
showing the old one through webmaster tools robots analyser tool.
Does anyone know how long it should take for the change to take... more »

This is the error message I am getting:
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please
ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.
However I have saved my sitemap as an html file. What could be the
