Dear all,

I am new to website hosting and sitemaps.  I have created a website,
it has been verified by Google Webmaster, and it asks me to upload a
sitemap.  I have created a sitemap using an online sitemap generator
and have saved the .xml file to my hard drive.

The sitemap tool in google asks for me to do the following...

3. My Sitemap URL is:
    http://www.freewebs.com/freeps3andimac/.........

    Example: sitemap.xml
    Example: directory/other_sitemap.xml

Now, I do not know how to proceed.  I have seen online that people use
an FTP Editor, then upload it onto there; afterwards adding some
content to their website.  I have no clue about FTP and created my
site using freewebs.com.

Could someone please inform me of how to proceed, what to do and how
to upload the sitemap I have created?

There is an upload tool in the Freewebs file manager I believe.
You can use that to upload the file.

Make sure it is an xml file, contains only xml code. Don't link to it
from your site.
