The Bicycle Film Festival

Hi all.
The Melbourne Bicycle Film Festival kicks off this week and runs to
the end of the month, with a range of film events (surprisingly :),
art shows, parties and rides. Local events are happening over the
creek at Human Powered Cycles and in Brunswick at Commuter Cycles.

application for a $160 000 grant for the East Brunswick shimmy. This
brings our bicycle budget to over $1 million this year! The route links

Just another call-out for volunteers for the Fawkner Festival on
Sunday 15th November.
I've received a few offers to help set up the stall but not many
offers of help during the day. If there isn't enough energy for people
to help out with the stall, we may need to consider the stall

I can help out with any of those. How about the 10:30 set up? The
group ride to get there sounds fun, too.

HumeBUG will hopefully be three days old by then. I wonder if any of
their (postulated) members might be interested in coming down?
Perhaps it would be nice to link up somehow with the proposed ride

The Fawkner Festival is being held on Sunday 15th November this year
between 11am and 4pm at Mooma Park, McBride Street Fawkner.
The Fawkner Festival is a community festival with music, stalls, food,
children’s activities and rides. The Festival is organised by a

The focus groups as part of my evaluation into Families on Bikes revealed a number of parents with older kids want longer rides. This is an event you may like to consider. It's 40km long, is a gorgeous route (goes over the West Gate Bridge) and has designated rest stops with water, toilets etc.
